And in case if you are planning to stay at someone’s residence, you will need to submit information about your stay as proof of residence throughout your stay in Tanzania. The Identity number as a citizen of Tanzania, house address, work information, and similar information about your host needed to be submitted.

  • Official Documents

    Based on the visa type you are applying for, you may need to submit official documents along with necessary permits and their copy. The official documents are to be collected from the workplace of the applicant. The official documents are to be signed and attested by the employer of the work.

  • Consent Letter

    For a traveller under 18 years of age, it is required to submit a consent letter that states that the traveller has a guardian’s consent to travel to Tanzania. This letter is required to issue him/her the visa even though he/she is under the age of 18. In absence of a parent, the legal guardian of the traveller is to sign the letter of consent.

  • Permits

    If you are applying for a work visa to Tanzania, you will need permits from your employer/employee from your home country as well as from Tanzania. The office you will be leaving needs to sign in that permit saying they are aware of your departure and the office you will be working in Tanzania will also need to sign the papers that they are expecting you.   • Birth Certificate

    This is optional. If you are travelling to Tanzania alone, and you are under the age of 18 and do not own a national identification card yet, you are to submit a copy of your birth certificate along with your application form. A passport can work as an alternative to a birth certificate.

  • Death Certificate

    If one of your parents is deceased, then you as an immigrant are required to submit a copy of the death certificate of that parent along with your application. Again, this is applicable only if you are travelling alone, and are under the age of 18.

  • Company Registration Certificate

    If you are travelling for work purposes or for business purposes as a director, you are definitely applying for a multiple Tanzanian business visa. In this case, you will need to submit a copy of the company registration certificate as proof compliance of with your company.

  • Marriage Certificate

    When you are applying for a visa as a spouse, you are getting multiple visas for a family visit. In this case, you will need to prove that you are married.
